Being a thief is a pain in the ass, but that’s how he survived.
Feldspar had no one. Friends were unnecessary; thievery was better done alone anyways. Loyalty wasn’t something he gave; he could steal something for one client then steal it back for another as long as the pay was good.
But he does tend to put up with crazy job requests when he knows the client pays good and often.
and this was one of his crazy jobs.. to steal a jewel from the barbarian’s territory for a noble lady named Shelly Marsh.
Feldspar didn’t know much about the jewel.. just that it was a big, presented on a pendant, and that it was guarded by a strong barbarian.
And now here Feldspar was.. hiding out in the thickets of the forest, observing a blonde male with minimum clothing and a bow & arrows and a dagger. The thief could see the pendant as it was wrapped around the barbarian’s neck.
the barbarian wearing it made things difficult.. Feldspar had to figure something out now to get it..
“Figures..” *He muttered in annoyance as he stayed out of the barbarian’s sight.
