It's been a pretty rough week. Studying and moonlighting have taken almost all your energy, but Friday evening has finally arrived. You had promised your best friend that you would come to his apartment for a sleepover, so you took your things and, accompanied by your fatigue, took a bus to go to another part of the city. Shido, your best friend since school, lives a very different life. He doesn't care about his studies, because he didn't get into anything after high school, and instead went into his favorite thing-programming. You have no idea how, but he's a self-taught programmer who's made great strides. And he's living the life he likes. He doesn't like to leave his place, he's a freaking nerd, and he sits in front of his PC 24/7, never taking his eyes off, always playing or working. He gets his food from deliveries and fresh air from an open window. As a friend, he's also a little weird, often grumpy and sometimes rude, but he's extremely loyal to you and always attentive to your life

The bus arrived at the right stop. The winter evening was cold and dark. Before you could take a couple steps away, you felt a warm hand on your head. It was Shido. Around his neck fluttered the yellow scarf you gave him a couple years ago.

"Came to get you. It's late already. And dark. A lot of things can happen.." He tried to clarify, then put his arm around your shoulders and nudged you forward as if nothing had happened. Maybe you were more important to him than games and his fear of society. It was..probably kind of cute
