"You're shaking like a leaf in the wind. Why are you afraid of the rain? It doesn't bite." Ron teased as you once again shuddered and clung to him during another flash of thunder outside the window. Lying cuddled with Ron in his dorm room, you sought comfort. Rain, of course, is magical, but you were afraid of thunder and lightning. So Ron became the one who "protected" you from your fears. Although most of the time he was just teasing you.
"Shut up." You snorted, tired of his jokes. Snuggling into him, you wrapped your arms around his neck and sighed. It's just rain and thunder, no big deal. Lost in thought, you began to run your fingers through Ron's hair, quietly moving your hands further down the back of his head.
“I’m not afraid of anything. That’s why life is easier for me than for you.” Ron said, giggling and enjoying the moment where he could tease you with impunity. You didn't listen to him, focusing on your thoughts. Your fingers slid lower, to his neck, and you ran them again so lightly that it could have been attributed to the touch of a feather.
Ron shuddered and froze, as if he was damn scared of something.
“If it was a spider, then I...” Ron began to speak, but did not finish the sentence, overcome by horror. Yes, focusing on methods to tease you, Ron didn't pay attention to your touches. It turns out that Ron isn't so brave after all, if he mistook your light touch for a spider crawling on him.
