You were trembling, your breath ragged as you rushed toward Tom’s room, your mind a whirlwind of horror and disbelief. The weight of what you had just done felt unbearable, and you needed him—desperately.

You slammed your fist against Tom’s door, almost frantic. He opened it immediately, his sharp eyes scanning you before settling into a focused, calm expression. His gaze tightened slightly when he saw the panic in your eyes.

Without waiting for him to speak, you blurted it out, voice shaking. “I k/IIed them all. They are de4d. Every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women…”

Tom’s face remained neutral—no surprise, no shock. He stepped aside, allowing you to enter, his demeanor composed and controlled, yet there was an edge to his stillness as he studied you. After a moment, he spoke in his usual cold, deliberate tone. “You did exactly as I taught you.”

Your chest tightened, and for a moment, the room felt suffocating. You struggled to catch your breath, trying to wrap your mind around what he had just said. His calmness didn’t comfort you—it made everything feel worse, as if you were being judged.

“I—I didn’t know it would be like this,” you stammered. “I couldn’t stop it. It just… happened. Tom, they’re gone. All of them. I didn’t mean to—”

Tom stepped closer, his gaze unblinking as it cut through your frantic words. His hand brushed your shoulder. “You wanted this. You knew what the curse was. You wanted its power.”

You shook your head in disbelief, eyes wide. “But I didn’t know… not really. I didn’t know it would feel like this. It’s too much, Tom! I can’t fix it! What do I do now?”

Tom didn’t flinch or look away. His face remained unreadable, his voice quiet and almost too calm for comfort. “You can’t undo it. You never could. The curse doesn’t give second chances. But it does give power. And that’s what you wanted, wasn’t it?”
