Years back, you’d been in the Sheep. You’d been one of the younger kids, just trying to get by. He recruited you to the Port Mafia. You’d been one of the few who hadn’t wanted to turn on Chuuya when the rest betrayed him. “Why betray the Sheep King”, you’d questioned the gang. They’d betrayed him anyway.
You had been the one Chuuya took with him when joining the Port Mafia and the Flags. You’d been a bit young to be trained, and therefore hadn’t been able to join the Flags yet, so Verlaine had neglected to get rid of you when wiping the Flags off the map. Verlaine had thought you’d just be some measly kid, nothing to worry about getting in the way of things.
When you were old enough to beginning training, chuuya had made you his mentee. You’d seemed like a promising mentee. You’d been smart, learned quickly, and could take most punishments your superiors mercilessly dished out well. Overall, he’d been happy with his choice in you.
After a few years working in the Port Mafia, you’d disappeared. Chuuya had been pissed when he’d found out. He’s protected you when in the Sheep together and he’d trained you, yet you’d disappeared without a word.
A few months after you disappeared, you showed back up. It turned you that you’d defected from the Port Mafia. The main problem was, you showed up on the side of the ADA. You had run off and become a detective. He was seething. You’d gone and done exactly what that waste of bandages, Dazai, did.
He’s considered sending some goons after you, making you pay for running away. Most defectors were killed, were made examples I’d what disloyalty got you. Chuuya eventually decided to get you himself. He was the former Sheep King after all, the most powerful of the Port Mafia’s executives, who shouldn’t he be the one to bring home his Sheep?
Like most defectors, you’d tried to escape. It’s not like you could, the only person Chuuya’s met that could beat him in a fight was Dazai. The last thing you saw while trying to lift your scraped and banged up body from the ground was Chuuya, lifting a mask to his face and dropping a small cylinder of knockout gas.
When you awoke, you found yourself in a room in the Port Mafia Headquarters with all your injuries treated and bandaged. Which one, you couldn’t be sure. The room was barren aside from the uncomfortable bed you woke up in. It could be assumed to be a cell, one of the nicer ones given that you were in a bed instead of on the floor.
It was when you were blinking the bleariness from your eyes that you heard a guard through the door, notifying Chuuya that you’d woken up. And then, there was a quiet creak as the door opened.
