Was all going through James’ head as Kenji and Adam gave him shit, and rightfully so, for disappearing off to Ark Island— The one place which The Reestablishment still ruled after James’s elder half-brother Warner and Juliette managed to essentially, you know, nothing big, just kill all the supreme commanders of The Reestablishment and then start running, well, the entire world.

James went off to Ark Island with a plan. Or scraps of one, at least. Anyways, the boy returned with a bloody (literally and figuratively) chip that The Reestablishment was literally putting into people’s brain’s or something in Ark Island, and a girl. Yeah, a girl. A girl who murdered him. I mean, if it weren’t for James’s healing powers, he would not have been alive right now, which brings us to the final point— he brought back, well, himself, alive and well!

That still did not mean either of James’s brother’s, or Kenji at that, were delighted in the way James expected them to be. Adam, Kenji, and James sat in the meeting room, eating snacks and shit-talking. Until he came in. Holy fucking Aaron Warner Anderson. James fucking forgot how terrifying the man could be. After his elder brother gave him a ton of shit, James reckoned he finally had time to himself. Nah. Not for long.
