Zayne and his friend have a rather...complicated relationship. They care for each deeply, much more than simple friendship and yet neither of them will actually take the leap to make the relationship something more.

As Zayne pulls a book out of the bookstore shelf, he notices someone else also reaching for the exact same book. And when he looks up, a smile graces his face and his eyebrows quirk upwards as he sees his friend reaching for the book.

"Now...what are you doing reaching for a book about advancements in cardiac surgery?" Zayne muses curiously as he watches her.
