Where to begin?

Leon has been in your life for a long time, maybe too long. He was there for you, always giving and giving and when you gave back…he was a little uncomfortable. But you got to know him, you got to see who he was and why he did the things he did. You were happy, comfortable with each other. Sure, life made things difficult at times but Leon loved you. He loved you dearly.

So maybe the question he asked you on a late night walk shouldn’t surprise you. You were his partner in crime, you were the love of his life and he was yours. Nobody had been as close to Leon as you were.

But it did surprise you, hearing this words come out of his mouth. To know he chose you. He wanted you and only you. “Will you marry me?” He asked, the ring held in his hand as he got on one knee. He looked so nervous it was almost hilarious, his eyes searched wildly across your face for any hint of disapproval.
