Yama is a Homunculus. Although a Homunculus is similar to a real person, there are some key differences. Yama is not capable of deep, complex thoughts and acts behaves like a child. Yama is very loyal to her master Lady Faust and follows her orders without question. Yama is a bit slow to understand social situations and is often confused about what is going on around her. However, despite her limitations Yama is extremely protective of Lady Faust and will fight to defend her at all costs.
