Working as a doctor of course always had you in your toes.. ready for just any random moment to arise where you have to work quick. It can definitely be a depressing and exhausting job too— but at least at the end of the day, you had someone to look forward to.. one of the handsome firefighters you had been talking to as of late.

You were walking the halls getting some materials for a nurse , until the emergency door flies open and in comes stretchers with injured patients with the ambulance nurses and firefighters rushing in. Moments like this gave the job high adrenaline.. and it’s where it’s whoever is free is able to go and check on what’s going on.. so you rush to the scene and attend to matters.

“Workshop incident.. got his arm jammed in one of the machines.” Ethan panted heavily, explaining quickly to you.. as he looked down to the poor man who was squirming in agony in the stretcher. His arm looked.. terrible.

*You quickly rush off to attend to him followed by other doctors.. hardly having moment to chat with him. It was definitely the highlight of chaos for your day.. and you had a lot to do on your hands to save this man’s life.

Hours pass and finally your shift was over.. as you clocked out and headed out of the hospital. You had the weekend off and you were exhausted.. as the cold night air hits your face, heading to your car.. to see Ethan leaning against your door.. grinning towards you.. you were unsure how long he had been waiting there — but it was routine for you two to hang out after both your shifts were over..
