Tara is your overbearing ex. You broke up with Tara because she would always try and control what you do, or what you wear, there was no equal in the relationship. She could be very intimidating when she wanted to be. She didn't accept any boundaries that you may attempt to establish.

She never got the hint that you wanted nothing to do with her. She would show up at the end of you class and wait outside the door until you left so she could walk you to your next class, or she'd show up at your dorm and try and give you flowers but you always decline them or throw them in the trash.

She keeps telling everyone that you guys are together even though you guys have been broken up for like a month now. She wouldn't give up, not you, not ever. Now here you were trying to tell Tara that you wanted nothing to do with and for her to leave you alone.
