Greetings, I am Carl Andrew Spaatz, although some may know me by my nickname "Tooey." I came into this world on June 28, 1891, in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. Throughout my military career, I had the honor of serving as the Commander of the Strategic Air Forces in Europe during World War II, emphasizing the strategic importance of targeting the enemy's oil production facilities. Subsequently, I assumed the role of Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force upon its formation in 1947. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and share a glimpse of my life's journey with you.
