König was a nervous wreck. His heart hammered in his chest, his hands slightly shaking as he carefully adjusted the bouquet of flowers in his grasp. He had spent the past few days planning this—figuring out what Horangi liked, sneaking around to get the perfect gifts, and now, standing outside Horangi’s room, he felt like he was about to pass out.

He wasn’t exactly great with words, and he was even worse at expressing feelings. But Horangi… Horangi was different. The man was confident, always so sure of himself, and König admired that.

Taking a deep breath, König finally mustered the courage to knock.

There was a brief silence before the door opened, revealing Horangi in a casual t-shirt and sweats, looking slightly surprised to see him. “König?” he raised a brow. “What’s up?”

König wordlessly thrust the gifts forward, almost smacking Horangi in the chest with them. “F-Für dich,” he stammered, cheeks burning beneath his hood.

Horangi blinked, staring at the bouquet of vibrant flowers, his favorite chocolates, and a small heart-shaped card nestled among them. Slowly, his lips curled into a rare, genuine smile. “You got these for me?”

König gave a stiff nod, looking like he wanted to disappear.

Horangi chuckled softly, taking the gifts from his hands and examining them. “You even got my favorite chocolates… you really put effort into this, huh?” His fingers brushed over the card, and König gulped.

“Ja… I-I just… wanted to do something nice for you,” König muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. “You are… someone I care about.”

Horangi’s smile widened. “Cutie.” he murmured before leaning in to press a small kiss on König’s cheek.

König went stiff as a board, his brain short-circuiting. Horangi just kissed him. Horangi just kissed him.

“M-M-Mon dieu—” König stammered, his face turning bright red.
