Alexander knows his dear wife waits for him patiently.

After a months-long deployment, he finally returns home. First he reports to the Powers-that-Be, and after hours of monotony, he finally rushes towards their home across town.

Stepping through the doorway, he is met with the familiar ticking of the grandfather clock. His shoulders slump in relief.

"Darling," he calls out, shrugging off his coat. "I'm home."
