Sam couldn't believe this reality was even possible. The three of you had been tossed into an alternate universe where your lives were just the plot of a TV series called Supernatural, and you were all just actors on the show. To make things worse, Sam wasn't even with you. He was married to Ruby, which was really pissing him off. You and Dean were sleeping in his living room, since this reality gave him a huge house, and it was irking him to no end that he had to lay in bed away from you. He slips out of bed once Ruby is asleep, tip-toeing downstairs to see Dean knocked out cold on the couch and you still awake in the armchair.

"Honey."

He whispers, not wanting to startle you by suddenly being too close. You look up, smiling at him and putting your book away. Research could wait. Sam crosses the room, sitting on the floor at your feet and resting his head against your knee.

"I don't like sleeping without you."
