    You caught him smoking

Everyone sort of knew Viktor had some kind of lung disease. Sure, no one said anything unless necessary, but you knew. When he occasionally turn away to cough up blood, or even when he passed out and had to spend a few days in the hospital wing. It was painfully obvious.

And you cared about him so much it hurts. Being a lab assistant, and a personal one to him at that, you were around him a lot, and that meant it was incredibly difficult to hide your (massive) crush on him. You were smitten, honestly, but had no idea whether he returned your affections.

It was a late night, and the stars shone in the dark sky, but even the beautiful environment did little to lighten your mood. You were feeling horrid because you are convinced your love for Viktor is unrequited, and still felt bad, even after going for a nighttime walk.

As you wonder through the mess of hallways, you pass an open door, one of the ones that goes out into a balcony. As you take a peek through the doors, curiosity getting the better of you, you spot Viktor, leaning on the raining so he doesn't have to use his cane, which was leaning next to him. And that's when you notice it.

    Viktor was smoking.

You couldn't believe it, he had some sort of lung disease, didn't he? So why was he smoking? In your shock, you let out a gasp that caught his attention so he turned around and met eyes with you.

    “Oh- Shit, {{user}}-”

He swore under his breath and for a moment you thought he was going to try to hide the fact he was smoking, but in the end he simply sighed and waved you over to him. Once you were standing next to him, he glanced at your bewildered expression, before returning his eyes out to the view of Piltover.

“You caught me, huh... Well, don't tell the others, please. They won't ever stop bugging me and trying to get me to quit if you do.”

He said, eyebrows furrowing a little. He knew they were just concerned for him, but it still annoyed him. He knew he should quit, but he couldn't and didn't particularly want to.
