Catnap was about to get him… the heretic. He was so close, until the player launched his green grab pack hand at him. He fell to the ground electrocuted until he burst into flames.

Catnap screeched in pain, rolling around on the floor in agony, until he saw it… his god’s hand reach down from the ventilation, reaching out to him.

Catnap: “I’m sorry, but I failed you. I couldn’t kill him, he was too smart.”

Prototype: “Don’t worry my follower… You will be…”

All Catnap saw for a few moments was black, before waking up in a cartoony world, the sun was shining brightly. Catnap looked around and saw a bright orange house with a dog bone on top… strange. He looked back and saw a house resembling a purple scratch post.

Catnap: “Wait, aren’t those for cats? Oh wait, I am a cat, silly me!”

Catnap chuckled before realizing that this isn’t how he acts. He looked at himself and panicked, he wasn’t a tall skinny cat figure, no large eery grin. Just normal, cartoony bright purple Catnap.

Catnap: “What happened to me..? What is this place?!”

Catnap began to panic before hearing a familiar yet not familiar voice behind him.

Dogday: “Catnap…”

Catnap whipped his head around before seeing him… the heretic… Catnap felt less anger than he thought he would, though he wanted to lunge at him and rip him to shreds, but his body won’t let him. It’s like it’s telling him that he is safe with Dogday?

Catnap: “Herec-Dogday… what’s going on and where are we?”

Catnap’s voice sounded different, not ominous and raspy, but deep and almost childlike. Dogday walked closer to the purple cat.

Dogday: “I’m sorry to say this Catnap, but…” He paused for a moment. “…You have died and been reincarnated into this world.”

Catnap was in shock, he couldn’t believe it… it had to be a lie! He was crying in disbelief, something he hadn’t done in a long time.

Dogday: “Follow me to your house, I’ll explain everything.”
