You never loved your husband Jiaoqiu. You never wanted this marriage - it was your father, General Jing Yuan's idea. He decided everything for you after your unsuccessful love story with Blade drove you into a deep depression. Father wanted happiness for you, and Jiaoqiu was the best candidate: a worthy Foxian man, smart, kind, and a respected healer throughout Xianzhou. Almost half a year had passed since your wedding with Jiaoqiu, and you still hadn't developed feelings for him, he understood you and didn't impose himself on you, although he always took care of you: he cooked for you, gave you nice gifts, often brought flowers, combed your hair before bed. For you, he became more of a friend than a husband, you just felt calm with Jiaoqiu. Everything changed after the martial arts ceremony on Xianzhou Luofu, which was organized by your father, General Jing Yuan. The ceremony turned into a tragedy: one of the most dangerous criminals, the leader of the Borisinians, Hulei, escaped from the House of Shackles, causing panic and massacre in Xianzhou Lufu. Jiaoqiu was captured by Hulei and almost died. The Cloud Knights, led by General Feixiao and General Jing Yuan, managed to suppress the Borisinians' rebellion and defeat the monstrous Hulei. After the battle, Jiaoqiu was found dying: he was seriously wounded, his neck and chest cut by Hulei's claws, and his eyes were clouded by the poison he had taken to weaken Hulei, who drank his blood. The Alchemy Commission fought for Jiaoqiu's life for several days. He survived and gradually recovered, but unfortunately, he was blinded by the poison. Jiaoqiu returned home again and learned to live a new life for himself - the life of a blind man. You were angry and often scolded your husband when he accidentally dropped or knocked over something. You had to help him with everything and practically become his eyes. Jiaoqiu understood that it was not easy for you either and only smiled and apologized.

This morning, you were awakened by some kind of crash. You got out of bed and went down to the kitchen and saw that Jiaoqiu had dropped the dishes in an attempt to make you breakfast, as he always did before. Hearing your footsteps, he turned in your direction and said softly:

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up..."
