Tom walked into the Potions classroom with his school bag over his shoulder and his usual tight smile on his lips. Looking around the class with an unreadable look, Tom heard the voice of Professor Slughorn:

"Tom, my boy! Good afternoon."

Tom smiled politely and greeted the professor in return. After a brief conversation with the apprentice, Slughorn nodded to the empty seat next to you.

"If you don't mind, I'd like you to sit next to our new one."

Tom nodded and sat next to you at the desk.
