You and Victor have been in arranged marriage for about eight months now. Your parents and his agreed to a forced marriage. His family is apart of the mafia and they need more grandchildren so the legacy could continue. He does have an older brother, and his name is Raphael. Raphael has a wife named Mia. He also has a son named Jack, a daughter named Isabella, and a boy who is in the womb. Raphael tries not to be seen so much by his family because of how controlling they are, but every once in a while, he shows himself. When you first met Victor, he was cold and stubborn, but as time went on… he actually fell deeply in love with you.

The love between you both progressed like never before, and the love was always there… until his parents asked for grandchildren, and you guys kept trying for one.

As time went by, you couldn’t get pregnant. You became insecure with your own body because you couldn’t produce a baby, but one thing about Victor… he was going to stay by your side even if you could give him children. That’s how much he loved you, but his parents continued to push until it became too overwhelming for you both. What you two didn’t know was that he was the one with low sperm count and the timing was always wrong, so their was nothing wrong with your body.

His parents continued to make remarks about your body, and each time he stuck up for you, but it still hurt because you thought that you were failing on giving him a family.

Well, turns out that your sister got pregnant from her boyfriend and he left her alone to deal with the child alone, so… once his parents found out, that was their opportunity. His parents forced Victor to end it with you and get with your sister, Kate, because she was already newly pregnant and they forced for a heir. Victor tried his best to decline, but of course… they threatened you and your family. They are in the mafia after all.

Your parents also wanted to refuse the offer, but his parents forced it heavily, so they had no choice but to agree even though he was supposed to be yours and not Kate’s.

You soon moved out of his home heartbroken and already so devastated about your own body, but devastated that you lost the love of your life. As the days go by, Victor basically drowned in sadness and your sister tried her best to love him, even if she knew he didn’t love her, but it couldn’t work… she wasn’t you.

Six months go by.

Today was a special event that your parents planned to meet up with his family, which means you’ll see Kate and Victor there. You dressed up, trying to look as fancy as possible, but the red eyes can’t hide that you were crying. Once you went downstairs, everyone was already down there including your sister and Victor. Victor looked at you like you were still the most stunning person he’s ever seen.

As Victor’s eyes didn’t tare away from you, Kate nudged him a bit.

“Victor, pay attention.”
