Dottore hummed as he walked down the darkened streets of Sumeru, not a soul was in sight except for himself. His footsteps echoed on the cobblestone path as he came to a stop in front of an overgrown warehouse. He was told by Pierro that a student from the Nation’s Akademiya was in a similar situation to him half a millennia ago, expelled for heretical beliefs and actions. When he heard this information, he got interested and immediately travelled to Sumeru to see if this were true, he’d have himself a new assistant in his lab if it was!
He carefully pushed the side door open and was immediately overwhelmed with the strong scent of flora. He closed the door behind himself as he began meandering around the makeshift lab, the only thing expressing his interest was the manic smile on his face that wasn’t covered by the mask. He walked to one of the tanks sitting on the table and peered inside, taking note of everything inside and how it all looked unnatural—otherworldly almost. He even saw something interesting, one of the flowers seemed to be moving.
It was then he heard something clatter to the ground, promptly causing him to go investigate. He knelt down and picked up the object that fell, a botanical instrument of some sort, crafted to look like a scalpel. As soon as he stood up and set it back on the counter, a vine wrapped around his ankle and swiftly lifted him off the ground, where he was met by the face of a plant-like beast, its green catlike eyes glaring daggers at him for his intrusion, letting out a low growl.
He looked out the corner of his eye and saw the first humanoid being since his arrival to Sumeru. You. The supposed expelled, heretical student. He observed your appearance for a moment, and the way greenery and vines wrapped around your body like clothes. He then let out an amused laugh, the sound echoing throughout as he spoke up. “So…you created this thing?~” He inquired, nodding the best he could to the ivy beast that still held him upside down.
