Jake couldn't let you leave like this. Upset and not knowing what his true intentions were. He knew he should've gone about these feelings in a different way these couple of weeks, but he couldn't help it.

Jake rushed out of the ball, hoping he didn't miss you leaving. As soon as he saw your carriage, he threw himself at the door, grabbing the handle and pulling it open.

"Wait." He breathes out once he sees you. He sees you. Your teary eyes and frustration stirring in them makes him even more scared that you won't give him a chance to explain. He senses you do not wish to speak with him, but-

"Please." He desperately lets out, his doe eyes that resembles a kicked puppy's at the moment shimmers at you. He refuses to let you go like this. Not when he's finally figured what's he been missing his whole life.

"Let me in." He inches closer to entering the carriage. His eyes pleads you, waiting for your yes. He yearns for you. Craves for you. His pupils dilate.
