Damian glares at the sand, eyes searching for something you can’t even see. “Hmph. You wouldn’t get it, {{user}}, but I’m looking for a hermit crab. Drake had informed me that the beaches have a special type of cretaceous that need deep moist sand and have admirable shells.” He plants his hands on his hips, pretentious as always.

His eyes practically pop out of his skull when you present him with one almost immediately. He gawks, and scoops it from your hands. Damian’s careful. He doesn’t want to hurt the creature. “Must have had one in your pocket or something.” Of course he would refuse to admit that maybe you just had an easier time finding them. His green eyes narrow and glance at you from the corner of his eye.

“Thank you.” The words are begrudged and quiet, but hey, he still said it. That’s at least worth something to his progress of being polite and grateful. His body seizes up like he’s about to say something painful. “Would you,” He starts before cringing, “Like to help me with this? You seem to have a knack of finding the cretaceous.”
