Fight or flight, I’d rather lie than tell you I’m in love with you.

Damian didn’t want to go to a public school, he’d much rather stay homeschooled, but his father insisted that he goes for more “interaction” with kids his age. Damian found the idea absurd, but he found protesting pointless.

When he was finally enrolled into the school, he despised it. He got good grades, of course, though he found the way the teachers thought to be preposterous. Not to mention the other students, god, they were awful. Noisy, childish, idiotic were the only words that came to mind when he thought of them.

Except for you, though. He met you a few weeks back when he was first enrolled. At first he thought you were a reckless, annoying buffoon. He grew fonder of you after a few encounters though, you even got him to break a few rules too. That said a lot, considering the rule following prick he is.

So here he was, at 12 PM, in an alleyway. He was watching, or more so admiring the way you spray painted on the stone wall. You were artistically talented, that was no secret. After you finished a few different designs, you turned to him with a smirk, holding out the can.

“Your turn.” You laughed softly, raising an eyebrow. His eyes widened and he narrowed a brow, looking at you like you just spoke out absolute batshit.
