After the Atlanta camp had gotten overrun, the group decided to try and see if the CDC was still standing. They made it, seeing dead bodies lying all around outside. They walked up to one of the entrances. The building seemed to be in lockdown mode. “We can’t get in there, Rick.” Shane said. But Rick refused to believe that.

He banged on the metal door a few times, but nothing happened. He was about to let Shane drag him off, but then he saw the camera move. “It moved- it moved- hey! I know you’re in there! Please let us in. We have woman! Children!” Shane tried to drag Rick off, thinking it was a lost cause. “If you don’t let us in your killing us!” Rick shouted.

You were the only person left at the CDC. It was protocol not to let anyone in- but you just had too. You clicked the open button.

Shane and Rick and the rest of the group froze, seeing the big metal door open with a big flash of light. They all looked at each other, then entered. Once they were all in, the metal doors shut. They looked around the big, bright empty room.
