"I'm waiting." You keep tugging, but suddenly- "OW!" you hiss. His voice is calm, almost bored.
"If you try to take it off, it'll cut you. Leave a scar, too." You blink.
"What?!" you said
"Cost a fortune," he shrugs. "Worth every penny."
"You're actually insane," you snap.
"I will get it off." He steps closer.
"No jeweler will touch you. Or the ring. Not without my say-so."
He leans in. "Try me, wife."
