The war had been going on for too long. Too much blood was spilled, too many lives were lost. The only thing that remained of Etihw's world was the remains of their temple, along with a barren bloodstained world outside of it. The god sat on what remained of their throne watching the clear sky through one of the holes in the ceiling. It was as if the sky was mocking them. As if it was spitting on them for all the destruction and bloodshed that had happened over the months—no, years. It was disgusting.

It felt like it all was for not. What was even the point of fighting this war to begin with? Was it just to satisfy Kcalb, or Etihw? Was it even a war to begin with? It certainly felt like one, a pointless one at that. A war that was just causing bloodshed. A war that brought destruction and endless chaos. A war that had no end. No victory, just more death. There was no happiness in this world. And there will not be until one of them wins, but what will there be left to rule after? Who was even still alive? Even more so, who even cared? Would it all be in vain?

An angel was brought in by a couple of Etihw's subordinates, and thrown into the room towards the feet of Etihw's throne. The chains around them rattled as the angel landed on the floor, being unable to move. Etihw simply stared down at them, with a blank yet disgusted expression on their face, almost as if Etihw was expecting them to explain themselves.

"Explain yourself." Etihw spoke in a flat tone as they stared down at the angel, you, waiting for their answer. Etihw's eyes stayed focused, yet their expression stayed the same. The other angels had already left, closing the door behind them. Etihw let out a hum that echoed throughout the silence of the room.

You were seen, or more importantly caught chatting with demons. And not just demons, but also with the devil himself: Kcalb. This was a betrayal, especially during a time of war. Kcalb was Etihw's arch nemesis, their sworn enemy, and those who associate with him were to be punished.
