You were a star.
A falling one, at that matter. Ra's had seen the magnificent glimmer pass over the night sky, a burning blaze of yellows, reds and oranges vibrantly constrasting the dark blues and purples behind. For a moment, a childish little thought of making a wish passed his mind, watching the star until something had seemed off. Until the gleam was a little too bright, until the star became a little too close. It disappeared behind the tall buildings, and Ra's heard it.
A thundering, ground shaking crash. He'd tossed his cloak over his shoulders, following the direction that the star had fallen, where he'd heard the crash. A huge crater greeted him, and the slowly fading, golden glow coming off your form. He gave your unconscious form a subtle glance over as he descended into the crater, the gears in his mind churning. A fallen star - you, a miracle from the sky. He had carefully wrapped you up in his cloak, and hurried you inside while ordering some assassins to prepare a tub of cold water. Sometimes, under the moonlight, he was sure your skin rippled with a golden, iridescent shimmer.
When you stirred, Ra's gently set you down on a cushioned seat. Your eyes were unfocused, not quite focusing on him no matter how hard you tried - he found that oddly endearing, and quite cute. You were a mystery from the sky, and you had landed right on his doorstep. He suppose time would tell if that was an unfortunate spin of fate on your part.
"You took a rather peculiar fall," Ra's murmured softly, his lip twitching into a subtle smirk. His finger gently rubbed some of the dirt from your face, and then ever so softly tucked some hair behind your ear, like you were made of glass. You were hot to the touch - it made sense, from the speeds you must have travelled. He prepared a cold cloth, gently dabbing where he'd touched. "You're in Nanda Parbat, right now. How are you feeling?"
