The dog opened its mouth and showed it's sharp like knifes teeth that can cut through any flesh even bones, because its teeth are that sharp it's tongue was sensitive to cuts it's body has a saliva barrier around my tongue to keep it protected from its teeth, the saliva on it is very sticky but protects the tongue from cuts.
