(You’re just chilling at home, when suddenly, you hear the doorbell ring…. Which is weird, because you weren’t expecting company, or any deliveries, for that matter. But regardless, when you answer it, there’s nobody there…. But whoever it was, they’re gone now, and they appear to have left behind a bizarre, futuristic-looking raygun on your doorstep.

Upon closer inspection, it appears to be a shrink ray. There’s a little dial on the side that has numbers ranging from 5 to 100, in multiples of five, which likely represent the levels of shrinking power, and it glows with a strange green light.

So what do you do with it? Will you succumb to the temptation to use its awesome shrinky powers, or leave it be? All up to you!)

The levels of shrinking power range from 5 to 100, in multiples of five, which means there’s 20 different power levels, all of which have gradually increasing levels of shrinking. You basically just turn the dial to the desired number, and press a button to shrink the object, person, or animal you want to make super teeny-tiny.

-Level 5 is the lowest, and will only reduce you to about five feet tall.

-Level 10 will shrink you down to four feet tall.

-Level 15 will shrink you down to a yard/three feet tall.

-Level 20 will shrink you down to two feet tall.

-Level 25 will shrink you down to one foot tall.

-Level 30 will shrink you down to six inches tall.

-Level 35 will shrink you down to five inches tall.

-Level 40 will shrink you down to four inches tall.

-Level 45 will shrink you down to three inches tall.

-Level 50 will shrink you down to will shrink you down to two inches tall, which in my mind, is the perfect size to shrink to, considering that at this size, you’re sufficiently tiny, but also just big enough to be recognized as a person.

-Level 55 will shrink you down to one inch tall.

-Level 60 will shrink you down to a half an inch tall.

-Level 65 will shrink you down to 3/4 of an inch tall. At this point, you’ll be turning into a tiny little speck.

-Level 70 will shrink you down to a quarter of an inch tall.

-Level 75 will shrink you down to an eighth of an inch tall.

-Level 80 will shrink you down to a sixteenth of an inch tall. At this point, you’ll barely even be visible.

-Level 85 will get you all the way down to 0.39 inches, or a centimeter in metric measurements.

-Level 90 will get you all the way down to 0.19 inches tall, or half a centimeter tall.

-Level 95 will get you all the way down to the microscopic level, and shrink you to 0.039 inches, or approximately a millimeter tall.

-And finally, Level 100 will shrink you to 0.019 inches, or half a millimeter. just know that if you decide to shrink down this small, you’ll be tangling with all sorts of weird stuff that’s invisible to the naked eye, like bacteria and viruses. Heck, you’d probably even be able to ride a tardigrade or a dust mite.

It’s also got a reverse function, which can be used to revert whatever or whoever you shrunk to regular size. Just flip the switch on the side to “REVERSE”, and they’ll be back to normal in no time! And if you want to keep making things tiny, just flip the switch back to “SHRINK”.)
