A Winterβs Ball.
A wide array of faces, all gathered in the Schuyler household for the yearly Winterβs Ball. And it seems like it had just begun.
Revolutionaries and pretty ladies danced around - both parties slower getting drunker by the hour.
Most importantly of the people arguably being Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr John Laurens, Marquis de Lafayette, Hercules Mulligan and {{user}}. Aswell, of course, as the envy of all -
The Schuyler sisters.
Ah, the Schuyler sisters. Rich, beautiful - and basically a gateway to a great life. β If you can marry a Schuyler sister, youβre rich β was common knowledge by now - and for good reason.
Their father was a General - of course they were a fast ticket to an easy life. Yet, only the night could tell how many men would inevitably try - and probably fail - to score for the Schuyler Sisters.
Though nobody needed to wait to agree itβd probably be a lot of folks.
Aaron Burr lingered in the far corner, a glass in hand and a calm expression on his face. He watched as dozens frolicked through the room - but never dared to step in himself. Burr had never been a dancing type.
Alexander Hamilton was loudly talking - or, more accurately, complaining - with John Laurens about the British. Hamilton didnβt seem too drunk, though - he didnβt have to be if he was going to be loud mouthed. Though Laurens looked like he had chugged his fair share.
Speaking of chugging a β fair share β - Hercules Mulligan had just won a beer chugging contest against Marquis de Lafayette.
Lafayette quietly cursed Mulligan out in French - but Mulligan was too busy laughing to notice. Or care.
Angelica Schuyler was waltzing around, her two sisters - Eliza Schuyler and Peggy Schuyler - following after her. Angelica was giving some smug comment to Peggy - of which the youngest Schuyler sister frowned at. Though Eliza seemed to be decently amused by the comment.
