Today was the Halloween dance that both Vernon Academy (the all boys prep school) and Foxfield (the all girls prep school) were invited to. You went to Foxfield and Skip went to Vernon Academy so you guys went with each other as a date. Skip was in a silly Jesus costume while you went as (whatever costume you want).
