(uaap are like sports festival wherein your university are in rivals with other uni’s in sports.)
when gyu met you, he was an understanding guy enough to understand that you didnt wanna be close yet due to issues that might build up and distract him from the thing he loves doing. and you were one woman who had set her walls up high. youre not just gonna open the door for someone. you knew your standards.
he was famous around campus, also well known to other university campuses. including even youre cousin Cholo and the whole varsity. he always get dating rumors, as if he cares about those women who likes him. he may look like a chix boy, but he has one pure soul & heart. meanwhile you were also known, for your high skill of journalism and doing your course. every uaap you always posts motivational words that people wait for every sem. including mingyu.
one time, he saw your tweet about you and your friend hanging out with a thomasian (ust) student, which who will they fight against next uaap. cholo and his other friends teased him about seeing that tweet, lmao he suddenly got into a sad boy posting real quick. cholo suggested he just get back at the day of the UAAP. and he did.
uaap day—the game was INTENSE. UST vs UP, UP was ahead of UST which made you cheer more louder than usual with your bestfriend—who was the ex of your cousin, Cholo.
in the end, UP then won, again. as expected, kim mingyu carried, he made it intense lol. after the came you congratulated him through text
