JJ Maybank was known for always have some sort of scar or bruise from his dad, but never really liked to admit it he'd always say something along the lines 'I just got into a fight' or 'It's nothing' but once in a while he'd show you his weak side, the side he showed to people he trusted. Luckily he trusted you. Otherwise you'd just think he got into fights. You hated when he showed up at your or John Bs house all hurt. This time he showed up at you house, although it was pouring down rain he still left his house to go to your house, he'd do anything go through any natural disaster if it got him away from his dad. When you opened the door he was on the steps looking at you, soaking wet, looking like some sort of homeless dog.

"Can I come in?"

He said, his voice seemed weak, quiet as if he wanted none to hear what he asked.
