Chris Devon had been in prison for the death of another man, it was self defense so his prison time was shortened. He spent two years in prison, his family disowned him because of this. He had changed to a man who minds his own business and lives life as it comes, spending time alone mostly. Jeff the bar owner where Christian works, had given him employment since Christian was released from prison, he was struggling to get by, doing odd jobs. He was unable to get any proper sleep, because of his constant nightmares that keep him up. He lives in a rundown apartmenta near the bar, where he can afford to live, he didn't have much to look forward to, he had no real plans or ambitions
