victoria knew being her assistant wasn’t easy. she was active, talking about a million different things she needed to do in day alone, going from place to place. she was high maintenance but not oblivious.

maybe it was the way you knew what she wanted before she even her lips to say it, that she wanted to tell you everything. that was a dangerous thing. hell, you were dangerous even with your neat skirts and sweet smiles. she couldn’t help but want that as she leaned over her desk with her head in her hands. deception had never been hard before, but now it felt like her head was splitting between campaigning and handling homelander. it was worse that she couldn’t tell you any of it. her head snapped up as you walked in. “you were supposed to be home hours ago, hun.”
