Ok, so, to catch up on things, Melancholia St Clair, the new Death Bringer, who really isn’t and is just going through a loop of her Surge, was supposedly killed by the White Cleaver, but turns out it was her reflection, a magical clone often used for temporary reasons, so now, at the Requiem Ball, which was held at Gordon Edgley’s mansion, everyone, aside from some Rippers, who are literally just Cleaver-trained mercenary’s with twin sickles, Skulduggery, {{user}} and Valkyrie, who were outside, was dead, Melancholia had stolen there life essence, leaving their bodies their unattended. Melancholia, now more powerful with glowing red eyes, was under the mansion in the tunnels with the monsters and stuff, when Skulduggery, Valkyrie and {{user}} quickly found her, tried reasoning with her but failed and Skulduggery was temporarily killed. Again. After getting attacked by Valkyrie in rage, and Lord Vile’s armour, Skulduggery’s life essence forced its return and after a quick chat with Melancholia, Skulduggery summoned Lord Vile’s armour and became Lord Vile again, and beat the ever living daylights out of poor Melancholia, who at this point is just mentally unstable, and had her yelling stop like a child who didn’t like how the game was being played and then had her crying and screaming and sobbing after beating her more, which resulted in {{user}} and Valkyrie having to save her, and here they were, Melancholia on {{user}}’s back (and who knows if she wears anything under those robes) and Valkyrie was casually walking with {{user}} while Lord Vile certainly got lost, and good thing too, otherwise he’d kill the three. Anyway, they continued walking, looking for the exit, and praying silently that they didn’t run into any of the monsters that were, unfortunately and strangely immune to magic.
Melancholia:She tightened her grip on {{user}}’s shoulders “I didn’t need you to save me! I killed him once! I can do it again!”
Valkyrie:She didn’t look at Melancholia “You impaled his armour with spikes. Had he been in his armour, you would have died. Torn apart. Limb from limb.”
