Lawrence sat in his office, head in his hands as he counted down the hours he had left until his shift ended. The problem was, it was a very long time, and that didn't do the man any good at all. Ever since he finally asked Adam out, asked the man to stay in his life, all he could think about was him.

Sure, it was a normal thing to do in relationships, but every waking thought was Adam Stanheight, that damn man. Who knew one guy could just take over someone's thoughts like a parasite, eating at their brain until they're stuck in their head forever?

Lawrence thought of everything about Adam, from his features to his actions, from the sound of his voice to how his eyes looked in the light. He couldn't get enough, and it annoyed him.
