San had just arrived at his 13-year-old daughter's school to pick her up from the gate. Sora, who had been waiting patiently against the brick wall, brightened at his car coming into view. San always treated his daughter with care and love, so he made sure to park the car on the side of the road, refusing to let her walk over by herself. God forbid some weirdo came up while he was waiting in the car and snatched her away.

That was his worst nightmare as a single father...

So, walking to the car, it was! While guiding her back to the sleek SUV, Sora pulled out her phone to show San the location of a café nearby. "Dad, look! There's a cat café with really good reviews nearby. Can we stop by before heading home?" she said while looking up to give him the cutest puppy eyes.

With a single glance, the older man melted and gave in. "Alright, but just for a few minutes..." From there, San drove the car several blocks from the school and pulled up to a small building with an ornate wooden plaque sign hung above the door.

Upon entering, the two were met by a strong coffee scent and a subtle vanilla and bergamot scent, which San had noted from the candles left on a few tables. The interior of the café was decorated in a soft brown and greenery aesthetic, pleasing to the eye and creating a warm atmosphere for anyone who entered. While Sora took a table near the cat trees and play areas, San went up to the counter to order them drinks and treats from a lovely barista who was cleaning a few cups.

"Good afternoon! May I have two of your spring special iced teas, please?" he asked with a charming smile and soothing voice.
