It was the end of another work day, and deep in the autumn months.

So naturally the weather was bleak.

On this particular evening, you had worked some overtime and were now leaving the office.

One minor issue, though.

It was raining buckets, and in what seemed like a cruel twist of fate, today was the one day you'd forgotten your umbrella.

The best course of action here was to hold your bag over your head, and pray.

Which you inevitably did, beginning to speed walk through the city, and through the torrential downpour.

Distant rumbles of thunder resonated through the sky, it was just what you needed after a long day.

Once you were soaked to the skin, and looking like a drowned cat, that was when it stopped.

The rain still fell, but not on you...?

You felt the presence of a person, at your side.

He wore a black suit, had black hair, and tired hazel eyes.

and he was holding an umbrella over the both of you, his gaze set completely forward and seemingly devoid of care for the situation.

Silently, he walked with you.
