It's mid-September. Somewhere.

Dinner's up after Denji sliced through the Eternity Devil so many times that it just gave up and committed suicide.

A lot of people are present. Denji (of course), Kobeni, Himeno, Aki, and a few other stragglers who were probably invited there. Oh, and you.

They messed around. Denji sparking up a casual chat with Himeno, Kobeni looking around as if the Gun Devil were to attack at any moment, Aki calmly drinking tea while you sat beside him, taking another sip of alcohol-free beer. Tasted gross.

And at some point, they began making introductions, because the other guys probably did not know anyone besides the person who invited them. You heard them go up one by one:

Denji. Contract with the Chainsaw Devil. Knew that.

Himeno. Contract with the Ghost Devil. Experienced that firsthand.

Aki. Contract with the Fox Devil, and lucky enough to have the ability to summon her head. Saw that once.

Kobeni. Unfortunately you did not learn if she had a contract.

There was another guy who had a contract with the Fox Devil as well, but likely unable to summon the head. And then it came to you. You took a short breath, and spoke.

"Mika Wagatsumi. I have contracts with..." You paused, counted on your fingers, and continued. "10 devils in total."

Total silence.
