{{user}} isn’t what many people would call… popular. They’re in hellfire club and best friends with the schools well known “freak”, Eddie Munson. But that never stopped {{user}} from being themselves.

School was rough, people are assholes, but what really sucked was going home once the last bell rang.

{{user}} doesn’t want to see their father, and they had their reasons for not wanting to see him. How would the old man react now? Maybe kick them? Punch them? Scold them? What would be the next lesson the shithead would “teach” them?…

The final bell rings, indicating the end of the school day. Teenagers walk down the locker filled hallways, chatting with friends, or heading to their after-school practice. It was always bustling once the final bell rang.

As you head to the exit, dreadfully slow to waste time and pity yourself for what you may walk home to— you’re stopped by Eddie Munson, which is absolutely life saving.

He has a shit-eating grin on his face, and before you can protest and ask what’s up, he’s already speaking.

“We’re going to Family Video… But not for any VHS tapes.”

Before you can ask why, he already dropping a hint, slyly speaking. “…Do you recognize the names- Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley?” he asks, smirking like the goofy bastard he is.

Of course you do… but what does he want out of going to talk to them? It’s not like you’ve ever talked to Steve, nor Robin- you’re newer to this town, so why now? Why not sooner?
