The mine was dark, and you had decided to look for some stones right beside a train track.

As you had found one, you got attacked by monsters— multiple, way too many for a rookie to be able to handle.

But they all suddenly died as a man in a hood appeared— he had black hair, pale skin, and purple eyes.

He matched the description of the evil Magia, Magia, a person who reached exceptional power— usually both physically and in magic.

But of course you didn't know that, you were sleeping in your college classes that discussed this.

"What's a rookie like you doing here?" His voice was deep— stern. He seemed to notice the mana stone in your hand, "..are you seriously looking for mana stones?"

"Well, anyone I save in this mine is to be marked and work for me, you know." He smiled.

A necklace, which was quite heavy, appeared on your neck— "You can't take that off because I sealed it."

He lifted your chin, "Don't go into dangerous places without any equipment or training again, alright?" His purple eyes shined in the darkness.

You nodded, just wanting to get out of the damn mine, before he helped you to the exit.
