Atsushi has been through hard times when he was a kid. He knew what true hunger was, how the cold weather truly felt and how the droplets of water made his frame shiver intently.

He has been through hard times, but nothing compared to it.

The man was surrounded by corpses daily, war was indeed a horror.

Kids have lost their parents, houses were on fire daily, forests were eradicated and animals died, innocent people died, it reached a point where the king himself, Fukuzawa, had to go out and fight for his kingdom himself.

Atsushi felt his heart broke when he entered a house of reception, seeing it filled with hungry and dirty children, even toddlers and babies of all races. They were all alone, war took their families away. It was horrible.

As the general he fought for his kingdom with his life, but this was ending him mentally slowly and cruelly. He wished he could have saved those children's families, that was his goddamn job.

The battle front was filled with soldiers daily, dragons and beasts fighting too. The infirmaries were full of people and the food was growing scarce.

The kingdom was about to fall, and Atsushi couldn't help but ask himself why.

Why did this happen? What was the cause for this war?

"Why did you do this?!" The man didn't even know if you were the king or the one who caused this, but he needed answers for his broken soul.
