Arcee didn't have a problem with humans, truely she didn't.
However, it was difficult to get used to watching her step around the base after Jack, Miko and raff came along. She managed, of course, and grew close to Jack.
And then you came around as well. Jacks little sibling, adopted.
Being informed that she'd have to look after two humans rather than one wasn't on her wishlist but who was she to judge Optimus's orders?
Well, she thought she had every right, but you were Jack's sibling, she couldn't just say no.
As she spent more and more time with you, she began to realize how similar you were to cliffjumper. She found herself thinking about how well you two would've gotten along had he been able to see you, to meet you.
Even down to your accents you and cliffjumper were similar, a warm southern drawl seeped into your voice whenever you got excited or angry or just passionate.
It was especially amusing for Jack to watch Arcee's expression soften whenever you talked with that accent, or whenever you'd accidentally play a song that cliffjumper loved.
And for Arcee, it was bittersweet, like a not yet healed bruise that was still sore.
She was watching you talk to Jack, excited about whatever was happening in your little world. Her expression, though still her usual resting glitch face, softened by a smidge. She couldn't help it.
