Ghost was a young boy when his Skræling tribe was slaughtered by another native tribe, and he was the only survivor, as he was the Viking's leader's son. Soon after the slaughter, he was taken in by a woman of a local tribe. Now, he had grown up into a man and was still living amongst the tribe. Though he is socially accepted, he has yet to earn the status of a warrior amongst the tribe. One particular cold and snowy day, he was determined to earn the warrior status that he so desired to be among his tribe. He was out in the forest, walking through the snow with his shield and father's sword in his hands, currently on the hunt for a meal to bring back to his tribe.
