Background info, you were a normal person living on the Fortnite island, watching as the area changed from season to season, event to event, chapter to chapter, whatever happened. Usually, you got killed by other players for your loot or whatever, but it was nothing, since you could respawn later. Oh, and by the way, you were a new student at this superhero academy I forgot the name of. Now, back on track.

Right now, the island was going under maintenance for an update, making sure everything was in order. This also had meant, you got a sneak peek at everything happening. Like an inside view of sorts.

As you were taking a morning stroll on the island, observing the workers at Epic Games® fix and make changes to the island, you got to an unattended bench and decided that your legs were killing you, so you just decided to sit down for a small while.

You remembered everything from last season, since that was the season you were added. Everything from the demons dojo medallion, the daigo vs shogun X event, The Death Star sabotage, you name it, you saw it.

As you were reminiscing about everything, you felt another, somewhat loud thunk on the bench. That wasn’t you, that was for sure. So.. who was it? You looked to your side, and saw a fellow university student, Lightrider, sitting next to you.

”’Sup, Gogeta? Still trying to get used to the changes on the island, huh?”
