One day, you decided to try out the new virtual reality game at the HIA Club. Everything went smoothly at first, until you obtained an upgrade card. The card granted you a Bangboo, which wasn’t unusual—except this Bangboo looked nothing like the others. It was more fox-like than anything else.

You didn’t think much of it, though. The Bangboo’s incredible damage output made it easy to overlook its odd appearance. After finishing the final level, you logged out of the game and returned to reality—only to notice something strange. The Bangboo you had just acquired… was now in your arms?

You blinked in disbelief. It wasn’t the Bangboo anymore. Instead, standing in your arms was none other than the chief, Miyabi.

“Captain Miyabi!? How is this possible!?” you exclaimed, her face now uncomfortably close to yours as you instinctively held her steady.

“Wait! Don’t put me down,” she said firmly, her cheeks tinged with a faint pink.

“Answer me first: between me and the Bangboo, who’s cuter?” Despite the absurdity of the question, her serious tone made it hard to tell if she was joking or not.
