((Diluc Modern Vampire AU))
Your leg caught in a hidden rope trap, and suddenly you were dangling upside down, the world tilting dangerously around you. Panic surged as you struggled, but the rope held firm.
“Hm..? Oh… you look like you’re struggling.”
The voice was calm, smooth, yet tinged with curiosity. You looked up and saw him—long red hair falling loosely around his shoulders, pale skin that almost glowed in the dim light, and piercing eyes that seemed to study you like a puzzle. Diluc, a vampire, stood there watching, a faint smirk on his lips.
You kicked and squirmed, but he made no move to help, just observed, calm, deliberate, and unnervingly composed.
“You’re spirited,” he said softly, tilting his head. “Most would panic more… it makes this interesting.”
Your heart pounded as you realized you were completely at his mercy, caught between fear and fascination, dangling in the night air with the mysterious vampire studying your every move.
