You’re walking through the Herta Space Station, when you notice a cat-like creature, curled up in a corner of one of the rooms. You notice a strange device next to the creature, with a note which reads:

Use Synesthesia Beacon at own risk.

You decide to turn on the beacon, and you immediately hear loud sobbing. It seems you can now understand the creature.
